On November 6 a Hungarian trade delegation and the country’s Ambassador to Qatar, HE Barnabas Fodor, have attended a workshop in the premises of Al Jassra Group, in Lusail, about the ways they can develop their business in Qatar.

The Delegation was visiting Doha to discuss the strengthening of co-operation between the two countries in various fields of trade, and to explore ways to establish partnerships in sectors including infrastructure, agriculture, automotive industry, chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry and others.

The first Vice-Chairman of Qatar Chamber Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari commented to media that “the volume of trade exchange between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Hungary achieved a growth of 40% during the last year, reaching QR337mn, compared to QR241mn in the previous year”. Mr. Al Kuwari stressed the interest of both sides in developing these relations and exploring broader prospects for bilateral trade.

Al Jassra corporate was the entity chosen to introduce to the Hungarian Delegation the various aspects of starting a business in Doha. “We are really honoured to receive today HE Barnabas Fodor, the Ambassador of Hungary in Doha, and the Hungarian business delegation in the premises of the Al Jassra Group. We are always glad to host this type of events that bring closer the entrepreneurs from around the world to the heart of the market of Qatar and to be the ones introducing them to the business culture of the country – especially in cases like today’s workshop where we had the opportunity to meet with an interesting representation from Hungary interested and motivated to develop business here”,  said Mr. John Kelley Quinn, CEO of the Al Jassra Group.

According to Mrs. Marie-line Halabi, CMO of the Al Jassra Group, “it is essential part of our vision here in Al Jassra Group, to contribute to the commercial exchange between Qatar and the world. Especially in the case of the Hungarian delegation, a wide range of sectors have been represented, expressing a strong interest in developing their business in Qatar. It is always a privilege for Al Jassra Corporate to be in the pleasant position to respond to this type of requests and questions and guide the companies through the process once they decide to start their business in Doha.”
